Damn the Lambo is amazing. It’s expected that the R8 would be most economical but I thought the Lambo would be the 1st or 2nd to run out of gas.
These guys should do a comparison of modern economy cars vs the much simpler economy cars from the past. Compare new models against an old Honda Civic, Geo Metro, Chevy Chevette, etc. Of course the old cars need to be in good condition with an engine rebuild to make it fair.
I would argue that old economy cars were more economical than the overcomplicated “economy” cars of today. Mileage isn’t far off and they cost a fraction as much to buy and maintain – especially compared to hybrids.

@1700iDiGuy Yep thats right, the top speed of the prius is 110 mph and if it goes over 50 mph it loses a lot of fuel which makes it absolutely shit for people who drive fast and absolutely good for low life morons who drive slow =]

@MisterGasMan Top gear is a one cool tv program, it also has alot of shit like this test, obviously fake since you don’t hear the cars splutter to a halt, or shown any empty fuel gauge.
@effatta all you said was absolutely right. but i have been both in a prius and a BMW M3. and the prius is certainly the most boring and dullest car in the world. in the BMW you would have the best moments ever in a car and is much more comfortable for long distances.
