How does engine replacement with reconditioned engine affect value?

I have a 1998 car that recently had engine failure at 55,000 miles. I also have an extended warranty that just approved replacing the engine with a reconditied engine. My understanding is that this is not a used engine but rather a reconstructed engine with new parts. Does anybody know or have experience with how this affects a car’s value?
