    @naturalyshocked Huh?

  2. seapeddler says:

@naturalyshocked My only argument is about how durable the car is.
I don’t think it is practical nor safe at the speeds it attains. On a race track, is another thing, but on a highway with 80 000 lb. rigs, it’s kinda silly. But who cares, it’s just a nice car !

  3. seapeddler says:

@naturalyshocked But the German flying saucer craft were made of a metal alloy called Viktalon, which could withstand 40 000 mph in the upper atmosphere.
Cermet is used in jet engine impeller blades, I think, and can resist volcanic ash somewhat. We must be particular and ask, what type of ceramic does Bugatti use? Anyway, the car is not ‘death-proof ‘. The materials used are not futuristic, but based on what the average ‘rich’ person is willing to shell out.

  4. naturalyshocked says:

dude, even a ceramic piston can grip.

my original 50cc vespa moped had a 70cc ceramic piston and race cylinder more than 17 years ago.

@naturalyshocked Ok, I read the website, and did not read anywhere that the engine was ceramic and could run indefinitely without coolant. The brakes are ceramic though. I’m sure it’s an excellent car but I want to see a concrete barrier crash test at 250 km/h. I am also positive that German mechanics are the best, but what happened to Stephan Beloff? Jesus, I’m still getting over the Saturn V launch !!! Werner Von Braun could design a faster car for the working class, I’m sure.

@naturalyshocked It was a joke…a bad joke…one that was only meant to be funny if you think that a fast car should also be a performance car.

Something that powerful, in my opinion, shouldn’t be a status symbol, it should also have strengths in all aspects of automotive ingenuity, such as the ability to go around a roundabout without having to do a three point turn.

  8. naturalyshocked says:

man, if you read bugatti website, you would have found out, that the car is designed to bing you home in every situation.
    although with reduced rpm.

besides you never need to fix your bugatti, from what i have read a mechanic will be sent (from germany) where ever the car is.
there is no other qualified personal on earth to fix that engine.

  9. naturalyshocked says:

omg, it’s a ‘roll royce’ on steroids and not a race car.

grrrr, please have some common sense.
it was never designed to be a race car, but a toy for the selected ultra rich, Bugatti selects you, you dont select bugatti.
don’t you see that Dr Dre doesn’t have one?
    although he could afford one.

  10. cordizzle4life says:

@naturalyshocked Holy hell, I bet that thing is great around corners hahahahaha

  11. seapeddler says:

@naturalyshocked When will there be passenger seats inside the engine?
    Great for winter trips!

  12. seapeddler says:

@naturalyshocked Now if the computer could generate a virtual scrolling windhield that did not need wipers or windshield washer fluid, wouldn’t that be great? So, 28 computers would be better, and 2 more to generate a protective forcefield, and a field that prevented rust. But then you will suggest I get a modern tank with computers. But a neutronium tank would be indistructible, without computers. Indistructibility is the key word here. Volks can’t guarantee anything except the next model.

  13. seapeddler says:

@naturalyshocked This engine needs coolant, right? How long could it run through Death Valley with no coolant? But a newer ceramic engine can run without coolant through Death Valley, because ceramic is immune to the temps. in a combusion engine. The Volks are great, complex engines; but if you think a bit, they are just gimmickry to make profits. I saw a late model truck that was hit by a speedning motorbike. The bike hit the drivers’ door and killed both of them.

  14. naturalyshocked says:

the car has 27 computers, it wil not let you down in no conditions.

  15. naturalyshocked says:

very simple ….. the engine would be twice as long.

when my granddad and grandmom had their 50 years aniversary, they where picked up by a very old rolls royce with a straight 12 and 24 spark plugs, man that was a large / long engine., over 1 meter long.

    What a motor…

  17. guilhugas says:

i would be interesting to hear this engine running without a muffler :D

@demios99 A tour would be great,,,,

  20. grahamkeithtodd says:

@davidlh69 it did and so did the Buick as well!
    both pretty good engines!

  21. grahamkeithtodd says:

a true work of ART! fantastic to say the least!

    @cordizzle4life i think the duzenburg(spelling?) had a straight 8

  24. moptim says:

how many w sixteens are made every year? probably not too much

wow, what a great place to work right?
its quiet, clean, nobody up your ass. its just perfect.
i would do this all day!
